Get cozy with a piece of paper and a nice pen and write a letter, maybe to yourself? Or make it a family affair.

​​Writing by hand activates several brain regions and enhances cognitive abilities, including memory, understanding, and creativity. It also improves fine motor skills necessary for agility and coordination. A person's handwriting is a personal expression that captures their style and personality.

​The following are needed for an accurate analysis. Understand that a hard copy is always best but not necessary to give a report of the handwriting or signature.

The sample is written on plain paper. (no lines)

The resting surface is smooth, but not too hard.

The sample is written in ink
-
The sample is 15 to 20 lines long. It does not matter what the content is, copy lines from a book or a poem etc.

The sample is signed using the subject's usual signature if requesting both or just a signature is submitted with same guidelines.
